The Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) consists of residents who advise the Board and staff on issues related to lakes and other water resources. They serve as the primary connection between the Board and local citizens' concerns.
CAC Roles and Responsibilities
The Citizen Advisory Committee is a valuable part of the Prior Lake-Spring Lake Watershed District. Within its role, the CAC will:
- Assist with the development and implementation of the education and outreach activities of the District
- Make recommendations to the District Board and staff on water resources concerns and District activities
- Communicate to the Board its meeting contents, activities, and recommendations.
