Prior Lake Spring Lake Watershed District

 The Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) consists of residents who advise the Board and staff on issues related to lakes and other water resources. They serve as the primary connection between the Board and local citizens' concerns.

CAC Roles and Responsibilities

The Citizen Advisory Committee is a valuable part of the Prior Lake-Spring Lake Watershed District. Within its role, the CAC will:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of the education and outreach activities of the District
  • Make recommendations to the District Board and staff on water resources concerns and District activities
  • Communicate to the Board its meeting contents, activities, and recommendations.

Join the CAC

If you are interested in joining the CAC, fill out an Application and return it to the District or email it to Patty Dronen. Members serve three year terms and must reside within the Watershed District and are appointed by the Prior Lake-Spring Lake Watershed District Board of Managers.

Applications can be submitted at any time and will be reviewed in February, June, and October.
